Beef and Cheese Chimichanga




Chimichangas red meat filled with a combination of ground red meat/recooked bean combination pro with chili powder, cumin and oregano, rolled and fried till crispy, crowned with cheese and jalapeno tomato sauce, it tastes a lot higher than chimichangas. They clearly pick family.  

In fact, that is the recipe my son asks for more than any other. I do not make those Chimichangas often because they are fried, however occasionally I'll cause them to whilst we are craving a few Mexican food, however it is now no longer an awesome night time out to eat.  

* ingredients :

° 1 pound lean ground beef
° half cup diced onions
° 1 clove minced garlic
° 1 teaspoon chili powder
° half teaspoon cumin
° half teaspoon dried oregano
° 1 (15 ounce) can re-fry beans
° 1 can tomato sauce (eight oz.)
° 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
° 1 (4.five oz) can green pepper
° 1 chopped jalapeno
° eight slices 10 inches
° wooden toothpicks
° 1 half cups shredded cheddar or colby jack cheese
° Vegetable oil
° Coriander & sour cream for decorate

* Methods :

Brown beef in a non stick skillet. Crush it with a wooden spoon even as it's miles cooking. When it's miles approximately 1\/2 cooked, upload the onions.
Once the onions have softened and the beef is tender, add garlic, chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Stir the combination and cook for 30 seconds.
Add the refried beans and half cup of tomato sauce from the eight-ounce can. Reserve leftover tomato sauce to add to the sauce.
Stir to mix and then put off from the fire.
In a medium saucepan, integrate remaining tomato sauce from eight-ounce can plus 15 oz. tomato sauce. Adding warm pepper also jalapeno. Put on medium warmth to warm.
If the tortillas aren't very elastic, warmth them withinside the microwave for approximately 20 seconds included with a damp paper towel.
Lay approximately 1/three cup of the filling towards one aspect of the tortilla. Fold the side closest to the filling to cowl the filling. Fold the sides and twist. Secure with toothpicks. Repeat with closing tortillas.
Heat approximately 2 inches of oil to 375 levels in a Dutch oven (or any form of pan you want to fry in).
Fry 2 chimichangas at a time, approximately 2 mins in line with aspect. Lay out paper towels.
Top chimichangas with cheese, chutney, sour cream, and cilantro.
